1. Indicator LED doesn’t light up:
If the LED light on your Niwa One is off while the unit is plugged in, try unplugging it and plugging it back in. If your indicator LED is still not showing any notification after unplugging and plugging your Niwa back into a power outlet; please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. LED is blinking green:
When the LED light on your Niwa One is blinking green means that it cannot connect to WiFi. It will reconnect automatically as soon as your Niwa One finds your WiFi network. If this happens too often, please place your Niwa One closer to your Internet router. If your Niwa One can’t reach Internet, you won’t be able to get accurate parameters in your app. However, your Niwa One will keep executing the current growing program.
3. I don’t see my home WiFi network:
This problem can occur if you are trying to connect your Niwa One to either a 5GHz frequency range network or a hidden network. Niwa One doesn’t work with 5GHz networks, but since most routers support both 5GHz and 2.4GHz frequencies, you should be able to change it to 2.4GHz mode.
4. MAC address filtering:
If your router uses MAC filtering, you need to temporarily disable it to find the MAC address of your own Niwa One. This can be viewed in the list of connected devices in your router settings. Once you have its MAC address, you can safely add your Niwa One as an exception and turn filtering back on.
